Trained as a fine artist at Helsinki’s world-renowned Aalto School of Art| Reeta Ek brings the aesthetic and imagination of fine art to interior design. Rather than seeing her designs as being merely decorative| she views each composition as an art piece ‚Äì with a creative process| emotional resonance and drama to match. Her signature expressive style mixes gestural action painting with natural textures.

Autumn. The Baltic coast. The sound of waves breaking on shingles washes through a thick fog. With a few expressive strokes of a brush| Ek perfectly conjures up this scene. We love the textural softness that balances the geometric lines and creates such an atmosphere of gentle tension – love!
