Exclusive to Curious Egg. These original screenprints are a new series of miniatures by Rachel L. Lee. Dreamer portrays her signature photographic image of a female figure encompassed in layers of expressive painterly marks, colourful drips and splashes that give the prints an urban edge and theatrical playfulness. Mounted on little wooden white washed blocks. They look particularly fabulous hung in a set but also make intimate little artworks on their own.
Rachel Louise Lee graduated in 2015 from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee Scotland with a BA Hons (First Class) in Fine Art. She received the Bernard Cooper Memorial Award for the best portfolio of work in the year and her work featured in ‘Ones to watch’ from DJCAD as well as ‘The Silk Road’ Dundee Print Collective exhibition in China.
