SAMPLE – X-Ray Botanics 02 Wallpaper by Feathr

We love our new range of wallpapers by innovative Finnish company Feathr. They scour the world for like minded creative people and commission independent artists to create the most unique and exciting designs for wallpaper.

One of the world’s most innovative and creative photographers, Hugh Turvey is an experimentalist who works primarily with X-ray technology. His work fuses art and science, graphic design and pure photography.  As part of his devotion to public understanding and engagement, Turvey is the Artist in Residence at the British Institute of Radiology. In 2014, he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal Photographic Society in recognition of his work as an advocate for imaging innovation and its role in the advancement of science and understanding.

Xray Botanicals 02 shows a beachside hedgerow, deconstructed by Turvey’s X-ray studio . The exposed internal structures of the flora and fauna give this wallpaper its rhythm.  Influenced by Russian constructivist concepts, Turvey’s work finds order within chaos. There is so much to look at in this paper, its like a 19th century botanists lab and just as romantic!
