Dromos Cushion (Sunflower)
This cushion is part of our gorgeous new collection from London based duo Cary Briggs and Andrew Mason of Stoff Studios. Hand printed using reactive dyes onto a heavy textured, hand-dyed linen, the designs are developed from gestural mark making and mono printing techniques. They use traditional methods to create refined, intimate collections of textiles that bring soft blocks of colour and texture to a room – they are beautiful little abstract artworks in themselves!
This design,’Dromos’, was inspired by classical architecture and Ionic columns. It was created using hand painted wooden blocks while the duo were undertaking a month long residency at Cove Park in Scotland.
