Madras Panel – Paradiso, Ivory
These gorgeous lace panels are precious things. Made in Ayrshire Scotland by MYB textiles the only producer in the world of the elusive Madras Lace – a name inspired by the products wide distribution
throughout the city of Madras in India. They use original Nottingham Lace Looms some of which are over 90 years old and up to 1220cms wide a manufacturing process that is extremely labour intensive. The looms run at a very slow, controlled pace so as to give a high level of quality control- this attention to detail gives the product its niche.
The Paradiso design is quite magical, a secret woodland of flowering trees and singing exotic birds with all the romance of Romany living it filters a soft sensual light and dancing shadows on to the floor. Hang as a curtain or room divider for a boho glam addition to the bedroom or living area.
*All panels can be altered in length for a small fee. Please provide your custom measurements below and we will gladly arrange.
